• NOW TFN: The Ligonier Meals-On-Wheels program needs volunteers. Call (724) 238-7250.
• NOW THROUGH DECEMBER 31: Regular Borough Council meetings at Town Hall will be at 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Exception in October. It will be held Monday, October 8th at 7 p.m.
• NOVEMBER 21-DECEMBER 24: Salvation Army of Ligonier is planning it's annual Kettle Drive to be held at Ligonier Giant Eagle. The Red Kettle will be set up from Wednesday, November 21 through Monday, Dec 24, excluding Thanksgiving Day and Sundays. Looking for any organizations or individuals who would be interested in volunteering to ring the bell. Please contact the Ligonier Salvation Army at 724-238-8654.

• DECEMBER 1: 7th Annual Holy Trinity School Art Fair in Ligonier from 12-4 p.m.Twenty plus vendors with everything from quilts and jewelry to wood kids furniture. Kids corner with face painting, balloon animals, découpage crafts, food, and more. Benefit for Art department. Located next to the old armory on Main street and West Vincent. G.P.S address is 327 West Vincent in Ligonier.
• DECEMBER 1: Ligonier Library Christmas &Tree Decorating Party. Children of all ages are invited to help the library staff with the decorating of the library's Christmas tree at 3:00 p.m.Hundreds of ornaments will be ready to be placed on the tree. Seasonal stories will be read ... and if we're really, REALLY good, Santa Clause may visit as well! Free for all ages Refreshments will be served.
• DECEMBER 1-9: Festival of Lights opens 1st Saturday in December, noon to 7 p.m. Features decorated trees and handcrafted gift boutique.
• DECEMBER 2: Town wide open house! Shop Ligonier for Christmas in festive holiday spirit! Day concludes with Christmas Choir and Bell Choir at Town Hall auditorium concert.

• JANUARY 26-27: Ligonier Ice Fest on the Diamond. Ice artists create masterpieces from blocks of ice located on and within 1 block of the Diamond area. Carving starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Noon on Sunday.
